Oracle sues Google over Java use in Android OS

ORACLE CORP sued Google Inc for allegedly infringing several patents and copyrights in development of its hugely hit mobile OS Android.

Oracle claimed in the suit that Google has violated its intellectual property rights and caused severe damage to company.

The company stated that Google "knowingly, directly and repeatedly infringed Oracle's Java-related intellectual property" in developing its market grabbing smartphone OS Android…..
